    The resort's Tyee Dining Room, with its ocean view and wilderness panorama, combines old world traditions, contemporary panache and the West Coast's freshest ingredients to feature culinary masterpieces created by Chef Lukas Gurtner, trained in classical French cuisine. The multi-course Chef's Tasting Menu changes daily and with the seasons; the traditional A La Carte Menu also changes seasonally. The Lounge features custom cocktails and appetizers made from fresh Dungeness crab pulled from the tank. All meals can be paired perfectly with varietals from the Wine Cellar chosen from a well-balanced wine list with bottles from around the world. Sonora was awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2018 for having an outstanding wine list. Sonora's event planners work with Canadian Outback to create unique team-building experiences, and also partner with wineries (Burrowing Owl, Painted Rock) to create custom wine seminars. The resort's executive chef develops custom menus for groups of 15 or more. The business centre offers internet-ready workstations, printer, fax machine and scanner.
