Moira Fitzpatrick's Le Mas de Pierre offers special package and FAM
Dear Colleague,
If you are planning to travel to Europe to celebrate a honeymoon, anniversary or some other romantic occasion, I highly recommend Saint Paul de Vence, one of the oldest, best preserved, walled, medieval towns on the French Riviera. Now that summer is winding down, the hugely popular cobble-stone lanes of this famous hilltop village offer a more relaxed ambience and idyllic weather – where visitors can stroll and peruse with plenty of elbow room throughout the off-season (resort closed mid Dec to mid Feb). Nestled along the Cote d'Azur, some 20 km equidistant between Nice and Cannes, Saint Paul de Vence has attracted artists like Chagall and Picasso, and celebrities, such as Yves Montand and Roger Moore. It is best known for its many modern and contemporary art museums and galleries, including the exceptional Fondation Maeght, which features one of Europe's largest collections of 20th-century art.
