Hotel Arts'Duncan Ly Executive Chef and partner with the HA Group is included in this year's list of influential Calgarians. Ly was named a Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine, which annually celebrates Calgary's young leaders who excel in their respective professions and whose work is positively shaping the community. Ly, who oversees, Hotel Art's Yellow Door Bistro, Raw Bar by Duncan Ly, and Chef's Table at Kensington Riverside Inn, also won a silver medal at the 2014 Canadian Culinary Championships, adding to his six consecutive medal wins at the Calgary Gold medal Plates.
Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, which is now closed for the season, reports a wildly successful season for 2014, and offers a heads-up for next season's bookings from May 21 – Oct 1, 2015.
Kudos to Borgo Santo Pietro, which was awarded two Andrew Harper Readers' Choice Awards and selected one of the best cookery schools in the world by Sheerluxe Magazine.
